Disney releases new Jack Skellington, Nightmare Before Christmas merchandise
It’s that time of year again, Disney fans.
The time of year when Jack Skellington and his ragtag team of monsters and creatures, the ones who accidentally ruin Christmas, come out to play at Walt Disney World.
With the spooky season returning, Disney leaders have created new products to celebrate Skellington, the main character in Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. The items were detailed in a post on the Disney Parks Blog written by Steven Miller, merchandise communications manager.
Apparel options for women include a Raglan shirt, a tank top, and a zip hoodie with Skellington and his lady love Sally on it, according to the blog. Men will find long and short-sleeved shirts available for purchase at Disney World and Disneyland parks.
Items for children include sweatshirts and shirts, according to the blog. The new merchandise line also includes accessories like hats, fingerless gloves and a scarf.
Lastly, guests will find new pins depicting Skellington and other film characters.
Skellington and Sally make rare appearances at Disney resorts, including the upcoming Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom, which takes place select nights beginning Sept. 2 through Halloween.
