Disney to be first honoree on O.C. Walk of Stars
Walt Disney will be the first honoree on the new Anaheim/Orange County Walk of Stars.
The first star will be revealed at 7:30 a.m. Friday during a ceremony on Harbor Boulevard by a Disneyland entrance. Mayor Curt Pringle and Ed Grier, president of the Disneyland Resort, are expected to be at the ceremony.
In March, the City Council approved the walk to honor those who contributed significantly to Anaheim or to Orange County. The launch is part of the city's 150th anniversary celebration, which runs through next year.
