Disney to offer free admission to military personnel
Rolling out another promotion amid a slumping economy, Walt Disney World will begin offering free five-day multi-park passes to members of the U.S. military.
Both active and retired military personnel are eligible for the “Disney’s Armed Forces Salute” promotion, which will run through Dec. 23, 2009, at Disney World and aims to build on Disney’s 2009 consumer theme, “What Will You Celebrate?”
In addition to the free five-day ticket, members of the military can also buy up to five more five-day, one-park passes for $99 each. They can also buy upgrades to multi-park passes. All tickets must be used by Dec. 23.
