Disney’s Oswald Coming to DVD
On December 11, 2007, the seventh installment of the Walt Disney Treasures will be available. Walt Disney Treasures, Wave VII is three 2-disc DVD sets that feature some rare footage of "Oswald the Lucky Rabbit", as well as "Chronological Donald, Volume 3", and "Disneyland: Stories, Secrets and Magic".
Oswald, who predates Mickey Mouse, was Walt's first big star of animation and will be coming out of the vault for the very first time on DVD with this release. These are silent shorts, with new scores made just for the Treasures Series. The Donald Duck DVD set will feature rare solo shorts from 1947-1950. "Disneyland: Stories, Secrets and Magic" includes archival footage with Walt's own words, as well as new interviews about "The Happiest Place in Earth".
Each volume is numbered, includes certificate of authenticity, exclusive lithograph, and is packaged in a unique tin.
