Employee of store at Disney arrested on child-porn charges
Lake County deputy sheriffs arrested a man who works at a store at Walt Disney World on charges of possessing child pornography after searching his computer Monday.
Detectives, working undercover online as part of the Internet Crimes Against Children task force, said they obtained a search warrant to seize the laptop of Adrijk Jose Duran, 20, of Clermont and found images depicting children as young as 3 or 4 engaging in sex acts with other children and adults.
Steve Rhodes, president of Crystal Magic, the store at Disney, said Duran had no contact with children in his job as an engraver. The company uses lasers to etch pictures in crystal. Rhodes said Duran was placed on unpaid leave.
