Talks still alive on Disney’s sale of Miramax: sources
Negotiations are still going on over the proposed sale of Walt Disney Co’s (DIS.N) Miramax Films division to Hollywood producers Bob and Harvey Weinstein and billionaire Ron Burkle’s Yucaipa Cos, two sources said on Friday.
The two sources with knowledge of the situation told Reuters that discussions had not ceased, denying reports that talks had fallen through between the parties.
Disney, Yucaipa and the Weinsteins declined to comment.
