Westfield launches Disney playworlds sure to be a hit with the kids this festive season

Heading to the shops during the Christmas season can be a nightmare if only because of the crowds and constant bustle.

But when you’ve got little ones with you, the stress and madness means you’re often one crowded store away from a tantrum.

Luckily, Westfield has come up with a handy solution to keep little ones entertained – and all the help with Mickey Mouse.

The shopping centre has launched new Disney playworlds in its Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City centres in the capital, and it’s sure to be a hit with kids (and parents!).

The playworlds are inspired by Disney Junior’s ‘Mickey and the Roadster Racers’, and offer both physical and interactive games including a Mickey Roadster Racers inspired car, Hot Dog Hills slide, a light-up winner’s podium photo opportunity, interactive flooring and screens featuring games and Magical Moments shorts.

Pre-school kids will need parental/guardian supervision at all times, but it’s still a welcome break from a busy day – and adults can take full advantage of the adjacent charging stations for their gadgets, or have access to a tablet device featuring digital entertainment service DisneyLife.

The playworlds will be available during opening hours and are open to children under 105cm only.
