Disney Cruise Line Dropping COVID-19 Testing For Vaccinated Guests On Future Cruises

The Disney Cruise Line is updating its COVID-19 testing procedures. With these updates, guests who are fully vaccinated will no longer be required to have COVID-19 tests before embarking on a cruise. The new policy goes into place on cruises starting on September 23 for the Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, Disney Wonder, and Disney Wish. For the Disney Wonder, the policy begins on November 7, 2022.

This new policy does not apply to guests who are not fully vaccinated. These guests will still be required to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken one to three days before arriving for their cruise. This will then enable them to not take a second COVID-19 test at the cruise terminal upon their arrival.

These new policies are being put into place as Disney Cruise Line continues the phased reopening and return to operations that are more in line with those that were utilized before the pandemic. The full checklist for arriving on a cruise with the Disney Cruise Line can be found here.
