Disney Has An Alcoholic Dole Whip And We Need To Try It ASAP

Back in March, the @DisneyFoodBlog Instagram answered our boozy prayers when they posted a picture of a frosty beverage combining Dole Whip and rum, available only at the Drop Off Pool Bar inside Disney’s Art of Animation resort. While they’re not totally mainstream yet, you can actually find these rum-ified “Captain Pineapple” drinks at select locations throughout Disney parks and resorts.

If you’re in California, you can head to The Coffee House inside the Disneyland Hotel, POPSUGAR reports. The drink costs $10, which in Disney-speak is about the same as a churro (just saying).

On the east coast, Walt Disney World has a few options, including Animal Kingdom’s Tamu Tamu Refreshments. Here, you can choose from a dark rum or coconut rum version; each goes for $7. You can also find them at the Drop Off Pool Bar still, or order a “Spikey Pineapple” at Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto in the Disney Polynesian Village Resort, which combines Barbancourt Pango Rhum and pineapple soft-serve.

The rum floats have started popping up on Instagram, and from the looks of it, live up to the Dole Whip hype. Whether you’re planning a summer trip to Disney or not, you can always add a splash of rum to this at-home version.
