Where have all the good men gone, and where are all the gods?

Bonnie Tyler was desperately searching for a streetwise Hercules when she released ‘I need a Hero’ in 1984, and finally, Disney has taken the hint.

Disney World in Orlando, Florida is giving guests the chance to go on a double-date with princesses and their boyfriends as part of a new character dining package.

Character dining is nothing new at the park, where you can book in breakfast with Mickey Mouse, but the “Royal Couples” package lets diners dine with some of Disney’s greatest power couples, from Ariel and Prince Eric in “The Little Mermaid” to Rapunzel and Flynn in “Tangled.”

The package is ideal for kids, but is also a great way to revive a relationship. You can show your better half how terrible they are at romance by sitting them next to a real life Prince Charming*. They might learn a few things about chivalry in the process.

Double dates are available for breakfast at the Trattoria al Forno restaurant in Disney’s Boardwalk hotel, costing around $34 (£27) per adult, and $20 (£16) for kids aged three to nine.

At the same time, Disney released a new breakfast menu for Trattoria al Forno, which features pun-tastic items like a “Tower of Pancakes”, and “Tangled Eggs” with tomato and basil.

Reservations are now open starting 2 April on the official Disney page.

*Disney princes aren’t real. Sorry.
