Disney to debut mobile digital comics on Vodafone KK
Walt Disney Internet Group (Japan), a division of the Walt Disney Company, and Japanese mobile phone operator Vodafone KK will offer Disney Mobile Comics from 1 June 2006.
This will be Disney's first-ever digital comics content for mobile phones, and will consist of three types of mobile comics.
At the time of launch, a total of 10 titles will be available. Six film comics, including 'Aladdin' and 'Beauty and the Beast', two American comics, including 'Chicken Little', and two graphic comics, including 'The Lion King II' and 'The Aristocats', will be available to customers.
More titles, including 'The Little Mermaid', 'Pinocchio' and 'Cinderella' are planned for the future.
