Nashville goes Disney on new album

“We Love Disney.” Who’s “we,” exactly? Everyone from Ariana Grande to Fall Out Boy, who have tackled their favorite tunes from Disney movies. Naturally, there are a few folks from Music City in that group, too.

Rascal Flatts teamed with TV star and country singer Lucy Hale for a twangy take on “Let It Go,” with heaps of vocal harmonies and acoustic guitars.

That track was previewed online last week, but for now, you’ll have to imagine Kacey Musgraves’ version of “A Spoonful of Sugar” from “Mary Poppins.” Nashville western swingers The Time Jumpers also appear on the track.

This isn’t Flatts’ first appearance on a Disney album, of course. Their hit rendition ofTom Cochrane’s “Life is a Highway” was recorded for the “Cars” soundtrack.

“We Love Disney” will be released on Friday, Oct. 30.
