University of Iowa Hospitals may adopt Disney service strategy
University of Iowa Hospitals has sought the advice of Disney on creating patient-friendly business strategies. Gordon Williams, operations chief for U of I Health Care, says the Disney concept of "warm welcomes and fond farewells" could be used at its new ambulatory care center. The Disney Institute also has provided consulting services to other health care providers, including Mayo Clinic and Johns Hopkins.
